A Perfect one to go…If you are finding a Convertible with High Performance and Updated Specifications.A]My review:After A Good Testing…Things that i wish to Highlight are…1. 2.1 seconds Boot time is Quite good even when you have many things to boot at Startup.2.a. While Playing Games the Laptop Heats…because the the GPU Fans are positioned at the bottom of the Laptop…and on back side there are few small flaps..so there’s a heating problem since there’s no way for heat to escape…But I have a Solution to it….If you are a Gamer then Buy a Cooling Pad..they provide a slant elevation of about 5-10° to your Laptop and The Heat shall easily Escape, It is true that while Gaming your Battery will drain…and it does…so Instead connect to your charger and then play.2.b.Performance Use wise there’s no Heating Problem.(Since running a Virtual Machine with 5Gb Dedication of Ram didnt give any heating issues *Ovio. It didn’t Reqd GPU so..)3.To increase your Battery Life..Prefer Using Battery Saver mode.4.This is also true that since it has a Reflective Screen so..at 0% Brightness its a bit hard to use it in Daylight…but increasing Brightness to >50% Helps a Lot.5.Everything else is Nice… Both Keyboard and Touchpad are quite Good.. Touch also responds very nicely( 10 point touch supported ) Fingerprint sensor is quite Sensitive.. works great…seriously set up a backup pin/password along with it. With Dolby Support, Audio Quality is Superb. Exoamp Wireless receiver also works great.6.Do read Part B] where in point 1 there’s a reference to detailed Specs of Laptop and Most Important point 6, there’s a mentioning about Included Softwares and their Licensing Details/Issues.And…Other Included Softwares are..1.Acer Care Center- Disk Defrag., Disk Cleanup, Startup Apps management tools., Battery and SSD, HD Status.2.Acer Quick Config. Tool.3.Dolby Audio.4. Few apps like Skype,Amazon,Acer Collection,Acer Portal,Games(Microsoft Spades Collection, Spades, Solitare)..And a few more…* I can’t recollect all the names now.B]Additional to Specs:1. Refer to Datasheet provided by Acer for this model NH.Q2YSI.011 in the Attached Images….for Actual Detailed Specifications of the Laptop2.For 8 GB (SoDIMM ) DDR4 Ram Its Actually 2x4Gb Configuration (*I think its Upgradable to 16 * I think, I’m not sure…please contact Acer for enquiry about this if you really want to know…I’m sorry I cannot answer that query. )3.Charging Laptop also supported via Type C port.4.USB 3.1 port Supports Off-Power Charging mode….for charging other devices via Laptop’s Battery as a Source.-Needs to be enabled in Acer Quick Configuration Tools App.5.You can boot into your BIOS by pressing F2 key before your Laptop boots into Windows.6.Although it comes with Microsoft Office 2016 Home and Student Edition and Norton Security Antivirus Pre installed, But..Office is in Trail period mode and needs activation in 14 days and Norton Security is also in Trail mode for 30 Days. After which you have to Renew it.But if you Register your product and make a Acer Account …you shall get 1 Month of free Activation for MS Office and 25 Gb Dropbox Storage for …*I actually dont remember the period …may be it was for a year or so.I got to know about these offers when i was registering my product on Acer Website- May 18, But it may also happen that the Offers may change…(It solely lies on Acer Ltd.)*Remember…Do Register your Product Online on Acer Website. And Download all Drivers related to your Laptop Model to provide as a Backup for Future Use..Since A Backup is Always Useful.C]I had noticed that on Acer Web site this Model NH.Q2YSI.011 Had No mentioning…they provided only for NH.Q2YSI.002(I5 Processor) and NH.Q2YSI.003(I7 Processor) varientsBut No Worries..NH.Q2YSI.011(I7 processor) model exists and I personally have even Registered(Laptop) it on Acer Product Registration Website so…No worries. No idea why they didn’t make a mentioning of it.D]Conclusion….So Like i said in the Beginning …Since I liked the Laptop, and after all this testing…The Specs, Few Cons.. I seriously will say If the laptop Fits your Dream Laptop Specs and Stats..Then go for it…Attached…Screenshots of Datasheet-Specifications for this Model-NH.Q2YSI.011

  2. A winner for the price. Using this laptop for over 2 weeks now. Excellent performance with no lag in touch and fingerprint. Super speed. Only cos are Big bezel, fingerprint magnet and limited ram of 8 GB. Wish this had 16 GB ram or if it had an option to upgrade but since I’m a business user and not a gamer, This is perfect for me. Superfast 5 seconds boot, responsive screen, windows 10 and Office, 256 SSD. great deal. I also purchased 3 years extended warranty from Acer website.

So I bought this laptop after reading lots of negative comments about it. But after using it for almost a month now I can say its one good laptop. If you are going to buy it for gaming purposes…. maybe not as it heats up a lot because of its slim nature and metal body. But for casual gamers…. It is awesome. Its slim and the design is just beautiful. its the small things like the little red metal bordering it that makes it a beautiful device. It has a full metal body and the chasis is hard. Even though it is a fingerprint magnet, wiping it with a cloth will do. It has a amazing screen with great colour accuracyit has a reflective screen and hence it may be tough to use in the sunlight but indoors its awesome. the touch is great and the trackpad is smooth. the chiclet keyboard feels awesome. i get an average battery life 6 to 7 hrs on regular use. Gaming can be made smoother by rotating the screen by 270 deg. and using a external keyboard. its is good for college and school students who need a powerful laptop with great battery life and also can game. {although i wont recommend gaming for longer than 4 hrs at once… it heats up for sure}. overall great bang for the buck.

Ordered the laptop on Prime Day sale. Laptop was delivered within 2 days, kudos to Amazon for being super fast as always. I got a great deal on this laptop, the effective cost for me is about 55k (Prime Day Sale 69k – Exchange 10k – Bank Cashback 4k), the current price at the time of writing this review is showing as 93k, which means I saved close to 38k… Thanks to Amazon! Now coming back to initial impressions :Pros :* Performance is great, 8th Gen i7, GTX 1050Ti with an SSD helps a lot. (A restart completes within 30 seconds)* Build quality seems decent and feels like it will last for few years.* Red accents give it a sporty look, especially the back-lit keyboard is a treat to my eyes.* Acer’s NitroSense, QuickAccess and CareCenter are very helpful tools which allows you to control the Fan Speed, Performance, Cleanup etc* At the price I bought, its the most VFM laptop. All other laptops with similar specs cost a lot high and feel very expensive compared to this.Cons :* The laptop does heat up on playing games. I tried CS:GO at High settings and the CPU touched 98deg while the GPU touched 75deg. The fans were running loud but didn’t improve the temperature as much as I’d like it to. (Sitting in a AC room with 22deg temp)* There were quite a bit of bloatware installed which I had to uninstall before I could do anything else.* The 128GB SSD doesn’t feel adequate as I have already filled up 80GB out of available 118GB storage space within few hours only by installing very minimum applications that I needed.* The keys on the keyboard are very odd, the layout isn’t the best. I tend to press Home instead of Del often. The arrow keys are very thin and feel congested.* The battery feels inadequate for this laptop, Acer could’ve given a battery with more capacity.Other Notes :* I loved the Laptop’s box, Acer did a good job in designing it.* The power button is flushed with the keyboard layout. (Top right corner key)* Although the laptop has red accents at multiple places, it has a rather strange purple accent within the power inlet and at power adapter pin end.* Finally at the current price of 93K, I’d look at MSI or Asus ROG series instead of Nitro series since they are more gaming focused.

Installed Ubuntu 18.04LTS. Patch the latest kernel to make touchpad working.Right click wont work directly.CPU processing capacity is excellent. 8GB RAM is sufficient to run the Android SDK/emulator and a Web server at the same time.Battery is just OK. It drains quite fast.Screen resolution is not the best, so buying this for high end gaming/design work may not be good.Didn’t notice any heating issues.Overall, good choice for software developers.

First of all let me tell you I got it for 63k in sale. This laptop is really stunning with best configuration. The whole body inside and out side is carbonfiber textured which is not real but looks good. The whole keyboard comes with only one back light colour that is red. It doesn’t have DVD/CD writer anyway I never use it. Played games like pubg pc and mobile both works flawless on extreme graphics. If you get this in sale go for this beast.

I got this beast during a sale at a net price of 69,000. At the time of writing this it costs approximately 89,000.For the price I got it at, there was no question of finding a better choice. There simply wasn’t one.The specs are absolutely fantastic. It can handle games like FIFA and Rocket League at max settings and some AAA titles at high settings with ease. The SSD which, as a standalone product is one of the lowest tier models around, does help in application boot times and OS boot time. Transfer speeds are so-so.The display is in my opinion the 2nd best in class, only to be beaten by the Dell Inspiron 7000 series, but that’s notably more expensive. Its bright, very good colour balance, and the matte finish make it quite pleasing to look at. This is good enough, I believe for media creation and editing work as the colours are crisp and cover a good segment of the Adobe RGB spectrum. The specs make it a great mobile workstation. The build is generally quite nice , with good quality plastic on the outside and a sturdy base. The keyboard is quite good and typing on it is a good experience. It has well spaced keys, with a nice typing pressure. They’re slightly on the softer side and are quiet too. The trackpad is a good size and is very good to use. It works with Windows’ inbuilt touchpad settings. No nonsense 3rd party drivers and customisation software to deal with. The sound quality is also not that good, with fairly ordinary speakers. But this is to be expected since it isn’t a full fledged gaming machine. The presence of Dolby software however makes for good output through headphones. The hexacore i7 is a joy to work with. Very snappy and quite power efficient. Which sadly doesn’t help the overall battery life, due to the presence of a desktop grade graphics card. However, if someone is looking for battery life, then a gaming laptop of any kind is the wrong category to browse. For me it’s as expected. The laptop is well equipped with ports and even includes a USB 3.1 type-c port, which is great for a bit of future-proofing and high speed data transfer. The cons are that the cooling system isn’t well designed. Over time it will impact system performance and will require more maintenance than other laptops of this category to ensure smooth function. You will find laptops from MSI and Asus with much better cooling design, but for slightly higher prices, & you will be giving up on display quality. The keyboard backlight has only an on and off function. Brightness control would have been a very good option. It’s great for the day but too bright for dark rooms. The frame of the screen doesn’t have any metal in it so it’s quite flexible. That helps to reduce weight but causes a lot of flex when being bent. So added care is needed while handling it or loading it in a backpack. For a model running in 2018, it has too few USB 3.0 ports. Even the type-c port is of an old standard. This bit is just sad. But, for me, the price at which I got it, I’m simply in no position to complain. It’s a phenomenal bang for my buck. I would suggest buyers to keep an eye out for it’s price, in case it falls again.

If you are looking for this laptop, i must tell you that, you’ve to compromise with its battery life. I’m using it since 18Oct 18, i noticed that it took 3H20M to reach 0 to 100% but completely exhausted in just 1H and 2H25M when i played low graphic game and watched a movie respectively. Performance is just okay. On 25oct got replaced but the the new one has the same issues I.e. low sound, and battery draining.

The laptop is quite good. I will not go into detailed gaming review because it comfortably runs present AAA titles at medium-high @1080p.The body feels solid and well crafted. Does not pass as cheap at all. Build quality is at par with 80K gaming laptops.Windows 10 runs quite good out of the box. Only two cons here being the whole 931GB HDD being made into a single Windows partition which I really didn’t like, and lack of a recovery drive.Backlit keyboard is good to use. It would’ve been nice if backlight intensity was adjustable. Touchpad is nice and takes gestures comfortably.CPU & GPU are value for money and well matched. Heat management is good, specially coupled with Acer Nitrosense. The IPS Display is stunning with wide Horizontal and Vertical viewing angles. Black is really black (and not gray as usually seen on laptop screens), and there is no light bleed anywhere on the screen. Colour reproduction is quite faithful and impressive.Sound is actually a lot better than what I expected. Dolby system makes quite a difference. The M.2 2280 slot is nice to have, and I have ordered a basic WD Green 240GB M.2 SSD which I got at 3330/- to put into it, so I expect even better loading times when I move Windows and games to the SSD.Overall, it is a good gaming laptop for the budget, and would justify its cost even if it was priced 65K. (I got it at 44K during offer, plus 1000 Amazon Pay cashback. Consider effective cost with 240GB SSD to be 46,330/-. That’s awesome!)At less than 50K, it gives other gaming laptops in the segment a good run for their money considering all above mentioned factors. Totally recommend it to fellow gamers who want a good budget gaming laptop.

Defective hardware sent. WiFi not working. Keeps dropping signal. Have called Amazon at least four times. I keep getting told that I would get replacement but no action happens. Apparently someone needs to approve the replacement, but he is sitting on it. God knows when Amazon will take action. Feels like I am dealing with government bureaucracy.Update – I finally got the replacement. The wifi on the replacement is better, however its still slow compared to the other devices i have. I guess the quality of wifi hardware on this device is not good.

Some Games I ran till now:CS GO: >65 FPS High SettingsFortnite: 35-40 FPS Medium-Low SettingsBattlefield 4: 35-40 FPS Medium SettingsAutodesk Maya works fineUnreal Engine works goodLoading Time of softwares is quite highBenchmarked its CPU and it was underperformingBootup time ~8-10 secBuild Qualtiy is low. I think its low quality fibre bodyTouchpad Quality is also poorThere are only 2 usb ports that too on one sideNo CD drive (as described)Camera Quality is fineIts adapter is quite poorly designedOverall: The outer components are not that well built but the inner components should run fine with proper optimizationDon’t get confused if you can push your budget a bit I would suggest to go for a laptop with Nvidia mx150 graphics though this gpu is also good but the mx150 is slightly better.

Ok,so the laptop looks good performs good has a great display not good viewing angles though.Games at 1080p medium run as smooth as can be.I upgraded the laptop with a 500gb evo 860ssd and removed my hdd.One suggestion i would give is to increase ram as it generally runs at 60% full.Rest all is fine, battery backup is ok normal usage about 4hrs of on screen time.I had an acer before v5 series i7 it had a tremendous battery backup almost would never run out but that had a 3600mah battery this one has a 3200mah.The rx560x in this has 16 cu not 14 so this is not just a overclocked 460.UPDATEI ran this system through 3d mark’s TIme spy:Each time scored more than 1900 and less than 2000.In the same league as of gtx 1050 notebook,Marginally better.1050ti is around 30% more powerful than this.If you a want laptop just for gaming buy one with 1050ti.MAX temp during benchmark: CPU 69c ,GPU 60c.One thing to note is this GPU is clocked at 1275mhz versus 1770 of 1050 vs 2000 of 1050ti.This system runs cool.Peace.

MOST IMPORTANT THING FIRST: DISABLE THE 16GB OPTANE AS SOON AS YOU GET THIS LAPTOP OR BE PREPARED TO HAVE THE CORRUPTION ISSUE.The specification are very good. It can flawlessly run any software with some little changes which will be much cheaper than going for a higher priced models. I use Solidworks, Catia, Ansys, Photoshop, Illustrator, keyshot, Autodeks Alias and Matlab. For the games, i have only tried GTA 5 and it runs very well. This is not a perfect laptop in default configuration but the best you can get in this price(65k in sale for me and 1k cashback as amazon amazon pay money). The laptop body has some flex and will cause marks on body and screen. It is highly recommended to get the screen guard as soon as you get this laptop if you don’t want keyboard marks on your screen. To run everything i mentioned above here are the few changes i made to the laptop.I already had a Samsung EVO SSD 250Gb sata( can buy for 4k at present) and installed it in the 1TB harddrive bay. The 1 TB hard disk is too slow for even a i3 processor. I am using the 1Tb as an external drive to store large files just buy any 2.5″ USB 3.0 hard disk enclosure to use the internal hard disk for external usage. If you work with large assemblies in solidworks you need to upgrade the ram as 8 gb runs out quickly but that’s something which every 8gb laptop will suffer. I haven’t upgraded the ram yet but planning to do so. As the ram is DDR4 at 2666hz there are only 2-3 options at amazon to buy. It is available at lower cost in the market. For users who are not really into technical stuff:Just search Intel Rapid Storage Technology in Start menu and lookup to disable optane. the laptop will be slow but no corruption issue will be there. Upgrade to SSD according to your budget to get the best. the boot time will be under 2 seconds with any average ssd.THE OPTANE STORY:Initially i liked the optane idea as it made the system faster, i tried with optane disable and enabled and the difference was very noticeable. It takes 2-3 boot cycles to notice the improvement in speed for certain softwares you use frequently. After 15 days, the OS crashed randomly and it took me good 3 days to get it running. It gets stuck in the windows repair mode. Installed it again from the recovery, did a clean install nothing works. it will crash again in a day.finally was able to identify that the optane was causing the issue. from the boot menu changed the hard drive mode to AHCI instead of intel rst with optane. Please note, you risk the data, backup before you disable this way. it is only recommended if you are stuck with the windows repair loop. After disabled the optane, ran chckdsk from command prompt on the internal hard drive(google how to), did a clean install of windows and laptop is worked without any problem. Speed was considerably slow so decided to put the SSD and again installed windows on ssd. It works blazing fast since then. the boot time is under 2 seconds with all the software’s installed and not even a single crash since then.Acer support is pathetic for this model as they don’t have any information nor they are familiar with this laptop.Initially i was planning to go for a internal SSD NVME (remove optane and put ssd in it’s place) from samsung but not even a single service center was able to confirm if it’ll work nor the customer care people.the issue is they are not sure if ti supports NVME. they feel it can support sata but if you lookup acer community many users with i5 configuration said they are using the NVME in their system.yet to figure out this, i’ll update the review if found something so ended up using the sata ssd i had in my previous laptop.A good product but not optimized to take full advantage from acer.

I bought this as a gift for relative, he loves it, uses it everyday for work and at home. It is mostly plastic except for the lid cover but doesn’t look or feel cheap. The 8th gen I7 CPU is really good as expected, the 1050ti also allows to play most games at FHD set in mid quality but the display isn’t as bright as you’d like. My only complain would be the lack of an SSD space (Should be atleast 500gb) that would definitely improve things but again, it’s understandable for the price. The good thing is you actually got an empty NVME M.2 SSD drive slot available in case you want to upgrade. Also, Order this Laptop from vqr .in/68 and Get 10% Cashback + 6 Month Extended WarrantyIf you like my Review don’t forget to hit HELPFUL, if not please comment for my best update.

Being a student entrepreneur , I travel a lot and use my laptop extensively. I was in search for a laptop that fits my requirement for a lightweight laptop in addition to it having a long battery life. Acer Swift 3 is the perfect choice for me. It comes in a truly affordable price and it has a full metal body making it look really sophisticated. It also has a built in Windows 10 and the battery charges really soon. So, if you are a student or a businessperson, I truly recommend this laptop.

  38. This is the best thing you are going to get in 89,999. First thing you need to do is upgrade the RAM SK Hynix 2666mhz 8Gb. Second thing you need to do is calibrate the screen colors. Third you need to undervolt the CPU by -.145v using the Intel Extreme utility. Then you can start playing all games available today at ULTRA settings. Assassins creed 52fps. League of Legends 200+ fps.Able to get upto 7hrs watching movie and documents on power saving mode. (never 100-0 your battery!!!)Screen is also amazing 144hz IPS panel but needs color caliberationThis is a beast dirt cheap if you can afford it BUY IT.Anything above this is just overkill. Anything above will just run few fps higher but wont feel worth paying extra 50-90 thousand rupees.(Optional repaste the Thermal paste with Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut to extract more performance out of your beast, drop cpu temperature by 10-20 degrees during gaming)

Seeing it’s features it is a good product in this price range but the biggest problem is it’s metal body. Because of this it gives shock on charging so you can’t touch it while charging. Whenever you touch it in barefoot it gives shock.First time I think it’s manufacturing defect in my PC only but I replaced it twice and all 3 times I face the same problem. That’s why I don’t recommend anyone to purchase this item.

The Nitro 7 does not have an easy access slot to upgrade ram,ssd & hdd. There is a “warranty void” sticker on one of the screw holes. So in short, if you want to upgrade your laptop you have 2 options – pay acer (850 rs per upgrade – not possible onsite) or void warranty. This is ridiculous.

🤑 BEST VALUE FOR THE MONEY 🤑 Seriously ACER has done an excellent job herewith the #BUILT AND DESIGN #PERFORMANCE #GAMINGAND #DISPLAYPROS 💪*BUILT AND DESIGN – full metal body, sturdy.*PERFORMANCE-TOP NOTCH*GAMING (anything u throw at it and nitro 7 handles it like a beast with so much of ease, jitter free butter smooth graphics performance)*RAM MANAGEMENT – awesome*DISPLAY – wonderful colour reproduction*WEIGHT – compared to predator series this is lighter.. Easy to carry..*GRAPHIC CARD – 1650 handles all the AAA games well… But u should not compare tis card wid 1660ti, coz 1660 is way More expensiven has 30% more performance tan 1650. (I’m very satisfied wid 1650) 😁*LOOKS-doesn’t look lik a full n full gaming laptop.. It’s looks more professional and I personally like tat… (Asus ROG looks lik a cheap gaming lap with Rgb colours compared to nitro 😂)*THIN BEZELS – Yes screen looks more live with less bezels*VALUE FOR MONEY BUDGET BEAST*UPGRADABLE – has many storage ports for Ram, ssd, hdd.*COOLING- yes the two fans do provide decent cooling whn playing heavy games…BATTERY BACKUP-ON A SINGLE CHARGE GIVES A BACKUP OF AROUND 6 T0 7 HRS ( Normal) 3.5 – 5 HRS (MODERATE )GAMING 2 T0 2.5 HRS (heavy)#CONS 😏SPEAKER OUTPUT IS ADEQUATE NOT LOUD ENOUGH – consider buying some good bluetooth speaker like mivi, boat, jbl…Fingerprint magnet-yes it does show some prints, need to clean it regularly.CHARGING TIME 2 HRS ( 0 T0 100% ) – yeah no fast charging🙁Overalll’m so glad about the purchase and really happy with the Amazon purchase, on the whole I would recommend this product to anyone who’s looking to buy a mid range gaming or professional laptop-it can handle any task on par with high end laptops (abv 1Lakh)HAPPY CUSTOMER 🖐️😁

This is the best model among all Nitro 7 available in India. Very good plastic and metal quality, very sturdy. This is just perfect. It would have been nice if volume/battery/nitro buttons were located outside of the keyboard. When i play pubg-lite-pc, fans do run at higher speed. Battery life could be better, but since this is like a portable workstation one shouldnt expect all day battery. I upgraded to 16gb, boot time is about 2 seconds only. Do uninstall norton and office trial version and disable unnecessary things during first time setup and also in startup menu. Also, i created a 500/500 disk partition through built in disk management since I wanted to reset windows and create fresh installation. Overall very happy – i do my personal and official work also. Solid machine! Paid 88,999.Note: If you play games battery battery will drain fast because of GPU. Keep brightness at 30% which is more than enough, and reduce keyboard backlight to get good battery life. You may also update bios by downloading drivers from support section on Acer website.Update after 1 month:1) Disable unwanted applications startup task manager2) Certain exe were taking cpu power in task manager, disabling them helped fans back to normal speed.3) Careful with edges – it is metal coating and black coating can come off if you scratch the laptop against rough surface4) Use colin and microfibre cloth to clean once once in a while5) You may want to change the refresh rate to 60hz in graphics settings if you want to save battery.

Just got hours ago. Will update review after using.Pros: i7 9th gen, 1660ti… Very good screen and viewing angles with anti glare/anti reflection.. nice keyboard. Cooling is not as good as helios 300 because both fans are located side by side rather than on both ends(as it is in Helios)..Cons: Little screen bleed, but u cant see it until in a dark room with a fully black wallpaper. The edges are sharp.. the speaker is horrible.

Received it today. A bit disappointed that after paying so much you get a basic looking product. Dells are much better. This laptop dosent feel premium at all. Battery life seems to be avg. I have not played any games yet but i am sure it will shine there.HW Configuration wise this is a great laptop. Screen is good too. The bezel flexes between the hinges makes you feel that its not strong. Keyboard is just ok. The backlight comes on every time you reboot it doesnot remember even if you turn it off.

Good product if you can find it for 71k during sale. Only things bad (considering the price) are the pre installed bloatware and the horrible realtek audio drivers. Just need to install OEM hd audio drivers and you’re golden. Bloat can be easily removed. Fantastic screen. Fantastic GPU… easily overclocked and undervolted to 1900mhz core clocks with MSI Afterburner. The CPU throttles hard on stock though due to the 45w hard limit. So donundervilt it if you plan to do remotely CPU intensive. Good fan control software. Fantastic keyboard, just wish that there was blue theme if not one zone RGB but for the price I’ll take it. Easy upgradability too considering that there is a spare m.2 slot as well as RAM slot. Go for it if you get it for 75k or under, otherwise the Helios 300, GL63, GL65 and y540 are far better at more than 75k.

I got this laptop in 2 days and everything was fine with it. The gaming performance is good because of GTX 1050 and i5 8300H. If I had got the deal of 54k with 128gb SSD instead of Optane, then I would have surely bought that. I don’t have complains for this laptop as it does everything well. The Windows that I got had a bug which is that when I right click on the desktop, the whole system would get hanged for a sec. I then reinstalled the Windows 10 Pro and now everything works fine. I think the speakers should be on the top so it would give a perfect sterio sound. And the keyboard is little hard to view under normal lighting conditions with backlight off. It would have been nice if this thing had a white backlight…..Battery backup is not good as it is a gaming laptop and GTX 1050 is a hugry kid😂Pros1. Best deal for 54k2. i5 8300h is better than i7 7700hq3. GTX 1050 4GB can handle almost all games released till now4. Keyboard backlight5. 16GB OptaneCons1. Keyboard is not that great to look under normal lighting as it is difficult to understand the key when backlight is off2. Less battery backupTips1. Thermal design is not good as the heat pipes start from the CPU and goes through the GPU and then the fan. So you guys can download Throttle Stop and then limit the Boost by disabling the Turbo Boost. In handful of situations, the Boost to 3.9GHz is ever needed. Also, you can downvolt the CPU to further decrease the temps.

Unity 3d -runs absolutely smoothly4.batttery can be drained quickly if playing games otherwise it’s ok.5.without backlit keyboard is hard to view.6.spekers are on bottom a big minus kills all the sound unless kept on a stand.Final tip :Go for this laptop if you are interested in playing games and do heavy cpu releated work and if this laptop is available under 54kLast thing is to talk about is Intel optane memory I haven’t seen a significant change in load time of any application it could be due to optane take time to see what apps are used frequently , boot time of laptop is pretty fast around 5-7s .

Now since it is damaged it is not part of warranty. PLEASE BEWARE TO BUY STUFF FROM THIS VENDOR AS HE IS NOT GIVING COMPLETELY WARRANTY AND ACER COMPANY IS A BIG CHEAT

First impression: Amazing Amazon Acer DealGot it in two days of ordering from Amazon during the sale, for 54000₹Build quality is excellent.Keyboard is backlit and screen is beautiful 1080 FhdWill update after using it for a week playing some gamesUpdating after playing games1. Rise of tomb raider 😎Graphics are just amazing no lag or stuttering is there upto 60 fps while charging and upto 30 fps on battery2.tekken 7same as above although I have bought a seperate keyboard for games like this .3.

Replacement service was none other than nightmare from amazonOtherwise//updated reviewBuild quality averageBattery averageScreen beautiful😍Keyboard can’t be used due to less visibility if backlit is offFor games it is beast💪For work goodi5+ is better than i7 7th genPlayed rise of the tomb raider buttery smooth experienceIf you are interested in gaming and sometimes wants to use ms office and coding. This may be good butremember battery gives you 3-4hr backup on very light useSuggestionBuy a keyboard and mouse for better workAlso buy cooling pad

Everything is fine so far…But there is a problemWhen I’m playing CounterStrike GO on batteryGame is lagging and frame rate getting reduced drastically. When I’m playing by connecting the charger then no issues found.Charging port and earphone pin came on right sideWhich is slightly uncomfortable for me while playing the games.

Quite good but price a bit high … Not worthy for 70k. Price should be around 60kI ordered it on 19th and got delivered on 21st , delivery was quite satisfactory but delivery condition is not good… There was shampoo spill/leakage on my package and it ruined all the boxes. Even it seeped into the box, foam cushioning saved laptop.-boot time is around 2 secs.-Built quality is so good and looks like perfectly weight managed.-Charging is fast and I easily got around 8-10 hours of normal usage without gaming.- it does have RGB keyboard lighting.-fans work very well and I have not seen any kind of heating issues.-Intel i5 10th gen is lightning fast and gestures at track pad work like a butter on heated knife.- a bit disappointed with the screen quality, the screen quality is not satisfactory and colours ate NOT accurate, colours look washed out and there is still some screen bleeding.- Sound QUALITY is beyond description (in a positive sense) when you hear it with headphones and do remember to turn dts-x on. The sound is super rich.Only problem is, is with the speaker volume when you don’t use any headphones … Volume is so low that you won’t be able to easily listen whatever you are playing.-HUGELY disappointed over the no accessories in the box… For 70 k rupees Acer MUST give a bag to carry and office 365.Final verdict- if you are looking a laptop only for gaming, only then go for it. Otherwise it won’t be of much use.And AMAZON pls deliver these packages with utmost safety and pack them in a better way.

  93. After 5 days of use:Pros:Looks are goodwent for i5 rather than ryzen. I5 processor is fast for multitasking(choose between ryzen and intel(ryzen 7 is slower than intel i7 . i have two desktops))Display: 60 Hz refresh rate, viewing angles are good(ryzen has 120 Hz refresh rate IPS display)GPU: very good performanceBattery: at least 5 hours with backlit on(movies, web browsing)Nice exhaust system also u get a year of 25 gb dropbox space.touchpad is good.Cons: worst webcam i have seen(doesn’t matter to me as i hardly use it)Audio: has waves maxx audio pro but speakers are not much loud, nice response to earphones,HDD(1TB 7200 rpm) is on the right side and u can feel the heat and vibrations on palmPerformance can be enhanced by using SSD and a 8gb ram stickcan say bit overpriced for 57k if u get it around 50-52k u can go for it. as of now no complaints from the device

Laptop is great 👍, I will directly get to the points. So you can decide to buy or not.Display: 4/5 Superb display. This laptops has a really good display and the colours are accurate, also viewing angles are great.4 stars only because it has got some backlight bleed issue though it is little in my unit but irritating. Also it does not have 120hz display but no need of that because it’s juts NVIDIA 1650, you wont hit 100 FPS in most games. So, 60hz is good enough for games.Trackpad: 5/5 It’s good though not great as APPLE MAC but can’t complain. It’s just good at it’s price point. (I don’t use trackpad just mouse)Performance: 5/5 I will say performance is good, don’t go for ASUS TUF only because you will get Ryzen 5 in ASUS TUF at this price, which I think is not that great as intel i5 9th gen. (But if you don’t have that much CPU work ASUS TUF is also a better option)GPU: 5/5 Nvidia 1650 just performs great in games. But graphics setting should be only high to get 60fps otherwise 40-55 fps in ultra settings in most games.Design: 5/5 Looks awesomeBuild quality: 5/5 It’s plastic build but it’s finish is smooth which is good. You won’t get any aluminium built laptop under this price.Speaker: 3.5/5 I have much sound experience. So, i will say speaker are good & loud enough for movies & games. But not good for music.Storage: 4/5 No ssd but you can install later.Keyboard: 5/5 Good key travel. Keys feels very soft and comfortable to type. It only has res backlit. (If you want RGB go for ASUS TUF though red backlit is also good).Thermals: 4/5 Temperatures were descent on this laptop. Laptop doesn’t get hot (but depends where you live). To me thermals very quite impressive.Edit: I am facing backlight bleeding issue. But this issue is common in ips displays.

You may also update bios by downloading drivers from support section on Acer website.Update after 1 month:1) Disable unwanted applications startup task manager2) Certain exe were taking cpu power in task manager, disabling them helped fans back to normal speed.3) Careful with edges – it is metal coating and black coating can come off if you scratch the laptop against rough surface4) Use colin and microfibre cloth to clean once once in a while5) You may want to change the refresh rate to 60hz in graphics settings if you want to save battery.6) The metal design is prone to scratches, dents and dings – please be careful and use a jacket cover for protection.

I just got hours ago. Got it for 88,990/-. I Will update the review after using it.Pros: i7 9th gen, 1660ti… Very good screen and viewing angles with anti-glare/anti reflection.. nice keyboard. Cooling is not as good as helios 300 because both fans are located side by side rather than on both ends(as it is in Helios).Cons: Little screen bleed, but u can’t see it until in a dark room with a fully black wallpaper. The edges are sharp.. the speakers could have been betterUpdate after 4 months:- I haven’t found any issues with this laptop so far. I am a CSE Engg student and I do a lot of CPU and RAM intensive tasks.CPU:- i7 9750H is just more than enough for any of your CPU intensive tasks which you expect from a laptop to do. CPU won’t be the bottleneck in gaming. Games generally tend to be bottlenecked by GPU while the CPU load is just 50/60% and its completely normal.RAM:- You should definitely upgrade the RAM to 16GB. It has an extra slot. buy DDR4, 2666mhz, CL 19 SODIMM Ram. I haven’t upgraded yet(LOL), but I currently live in a small city where there is no Acer store(don’t do it on your own, it will void the warranty)Disk:- SSD is super fast, The benchmarks are as high as 3000MBps read. But in actual performance too, its really fast. File copy from one partition to another gives 1000MBps transfer speed. Apps load faster in RAM. The SSD configuration is 2 * 500GB m.2 NVME SSD and its blazingly fast, even with only 8GB of RAM, the tasks never minimize because the NVME SSD acts as a fast SWAP memory(if u know what SWAP memory is).IMPORTANT(if u want to dual boot):- The dual SSD is in intel RAID 0 configuration. Linux doesn’t support RAID memory configuration, so you won’t be able to dual boot(e.g., Windows 10 + ubuntu).Possible solutions below:-1)Recommended: Install a SATA SSD or HDD in the extra SATA slot provided in the laptop and install Linux in that drive2)Change the SSD configuration to AHCI from RAID 0(though it will reduce SSD performance), and then dual boot.3)Use virtualization(e.g., Oracle Virtual Box) and install Linux in VM4)Use WSL 2(windows subsystem for Linux)GPU: The 1660ti handles all games fine. I have played Witcher 3(didn’t use fps meter, but it was very good), PUBG pc lite(144 fps, consistent 110 fps in engaging to enemies), COD modern warfare Battle royale. I never found the frame rate to be disappointing. If you are not a hardcore gamer, then you should definitely go for this laptop over helios because of the value for money and lightweight which enables portability. If u are a very hardcore gamer, then dude build a Desktop, why are you buying a laptop.Let me know if any questions. I will update further.

  97. Very good and durable metal body with anodized finish on back and inside.was confused between acer predator helios 300 / msi gl65 9sdk and 9sck / nitro 7 top model.Between all i walked with nitro 7 option based on value for money and after sale support + quality of product used. This uses a very good screen i think its an LG panel IPS one, has 2x kingston m.2 ssd and 2666 x1 ddr4 kingston ram.Just updated it with 1TB samsung SATA ssd and 32 gb (2x 16gigs) of hyperx RAMREINSTALLED WINDOWS FROM MICROSOFT……DELETED ALL PARTITIONS AND A FRESH START WITH ALL DRIVERS FROM ACER SITE.BELIEVE THAT ITS A HOUSE OF RAW POWER.*in case of throttling or overheating when gaming above 95 or 98 °c install intel extreme utilities and undervolt the CPU by -140*
