I was looking for a case to keep my Kindle Paperwhite in because it was collecting dust when I left it out and also wanted to protect it when I threw it in my bag. I looked at the different cases that fold over, but they all seemed bulky. I like holding the kindle bare because of its size and lightness. The Bear Motion Slim Sleeve was exactly what I was looking for, as it protects the device when I’m not using it, but get to use the Kindle without with bulk while reading. It has a perfect, snug fit that allows the Kindle to be put in easily, but won’t slip out. It has a felt lining that seems to be gentle on the device without scratching it. I’ve only had it for a few days, so I can’t comment on long term integrity of the product, but it does seem high qualityPROS:- slim, no bulk- excellent fit (snug, will not fall out)- nice looking (at least the black version)- good quality- good protection- can charge Kindle while in caseCONS:- not integrated with device (doesn’t connect to it like flip covers) – so can be potentially lost- a bit of a pull to take out Kindle (due to snug fit)

I like how slim my e-reader is and I did not want some case to ruin that. The big draw is in its portability and ease of use, this case compliments that perfectly. I can put my kindle in the sleeve and toss it in a bag without worrying about something scratching it (even though its super resilient without it!) and then just pull it out when I wanna use it. It’s exactly what I was looking for (though it’d be nice if they had a vegan option).

The Bear Motion Premium Slim Sleeve Case Cover for Kindle Paperwhite is a basic fake leather slip case. I use it on my kindle paperwhite for travel and throwing in my bag, and it works just fine.Like- It’s cheap, and seems to work to protect the kindle- No extra bells and whistles – just a basic slip case- It’s a bit tight at first, but once it stretches and forms to the shape of the kindle, it’s perfect – snug, but usable- The fake leather is of fine quality- def not the real thing, but perfectly acceptable.Don’t like- I like pretty much everything about this, for the pricepoint. No big drawbacks.Should you buy it?- Cheap, basic, gets the job done – go for it. Hard to go wrong for this price.

  9. The cover looks cute at first sight, while you hold it it feels good too.its light weight super easy to carry. However when you turn it around behind the kindle the cross sectioning design tends to fall apart, you have to hold it properly so that it does not.The best part as its is a Origami cover you can use it as a stand, in both landscape and portrait mode.Overall its a good purchase, recomended.EDIT: NOT WORTH IT ABOVE MENTIONED REVIEW WAS MY INITIAL REVIEW. THE CASE NOW HAS GONE BAD IN JUST FEW DAYS, IT WAS TODAY I PICKED UP MY KINDLE AND WAS ABOUT TO READ AND TO MY SHOCK I SAW TWO OF THE BOTTOM EDGES OF THE COVER BROKEN, INITIALLY I THOUGHT SOMEONE OR SOMEHOW I DROPPED MY KINDLE, I THEN PULLED OUT MY KINDLE AND IT WAS PERFECTLY FINE. THEN I SAW VERY CLOSELY TO THE COVER AND SAW CRACKED LINES ON ALL FOUR EDGES. SOMEHOW THE COVER ITSELF DEVELOPED THESE CRACKS AND IN TIME I SUPPOSE THE REST TWO REMAINING EDGES WOULD ALSO BREAK.THE PLASTIC USED IS BAD…NOT RECOMENDED…

After using the cover for some, my kindle device started feeling some issue like options are auto selecting. I am not touching the kindle screen but still, the options are auto selecting. This cover has some magnetic stuff. I am thinking that magnetic stuff in cover can impact the device functionality

It’s a great ergonomic product for travelling to remote areas where luggage weight is a premium and as a voracious reader, it is hard to carry physical books in that volume. Great battery life. However, the feel especially if you wish to read lying down, is a bit unwieldy and I miss the lovely effect of page turning that I would get with my Kindle app on my previous Samsung Note 2. Also, to change the background to black (reversing the colour) is a feature missing. Still, I would definitely recommend it for readers who like to travel and pack smartly.

The product is good. But disappointed because it didn’t look as good as new.Tiny scratches here and there. And the black box in which it was encased was torn, must have happened while shipping.

  20. Brown part is pig leather and product is as described by seller. Thanks!NOTE: Initially you might feel itching in eyes or red rashes on hands (temporarily). It is due to chemical used to process leather. It will go away once you start using it.

Several years ago, I bought a beautiful leather case for an iPad from our local Fossil store. It fit perfectly, was very sturdy, attractive, fit nicely into the bags I wanted it to, and has lasted for a good long while. This new Sleeve cover for my Paperwhite Kindle looks like I ‘m going to have the same great luck with a similar product. It is very slim, so fits into a small space , tight enough to keep it secure, and is a great color of red. Could not be any happier, and at a good price, as well.

  30. So much for thin leather (Kindle Paperwhite Case, MoKo Premium Thinnest and Lightest Leather Cover)…. it’s fairly thick hard nasty plastic. I would have been fine with fake leather so not impressed with the false advertising.Great if you want a rock hard outer which has a rough texture! Can’t get in touch with the seller in case wrong case was posted, there is no option to do anything but return the item.

This is my quick review of the MoKo Leather Cover Case for the Kindle Paperwhite. I’ll keep this review real clear and simple.☯PROS ::1. FULL PROTECTIONNaturally being a book-style cover case, the MoKo case does an excellent job at protecting the Paperwhite from all angles. From the faux-leather material that covers the front and the back, to the matte plastic that surrounds the bezel of the device, there’s no doubt that the Paperwhite is protected from dust, debris, and drops from any angle.2. EFFECTIVE & MINIMALISTIC DESIGNThe design of the case is quite minimalistic – but in a very good way. It’s not just simply boring black, but actually has this very nice alligator leather-like texture on the front and back of the case. This allows the case to not only LOOK quite high quality, but also FEEL quite grippy and nice in the hand.3. AUTO SLEEP/WAKE FEATUREWhen the flap of the cover case is closed, the Kindle Paperwhite automatically goes to sleep. When opened, it wakes up. I forgot there was a power button on the device after getting used to this feature. If this feature itself is not convenient enough, the flap closes securely thanks to magnets, and does not open unless intended to.4. ACCESSIBLE PORT AND BUTTONThere is one single large cut-out for the Micro USB port, LED indicator, and power button at the bottom. I found this to be EXTREMELY convenient, as the one single large cut-out allowed any size Micro USB cable to be plugged in freely, with the power button still being uncovered and easy to press.5. MINIMAL BULK ADDED FOR THE GOODOf course, the case does add some minimal bulk to the device. However, it’s not that significant at all, and the minimal bulk actually helps with the grip. The matte plastic material that runs on the border of the case adds a more rectangular structure to the device, allowing it to sit very nicely in the palm of my hands.☯CONS ::None that I can see. The front of the device is not obstructed in ANY way, ports are all accessible, protection is added… nope, can’t find any cons. Of course, if I find any problems with the case with further usage, I will make sure to update the review.☯VERDICT ::For about $15 CAD, this is an amazing deal. You’re getting a good looking case with added protection and functionality, with little to no compromise.

Had this on my want list for a while but put of picking it up because it’s not the cheapest case compared to some. Now I have it though I am very happy, it seems well made, and it fits tight and protects my Kindle well. The case itself appears to be a mix of plastic with what appears to be bonded PU leather (my understanding is that this is leather with a textured polyurethane coating). I have no way to tell if it is real leather under the PU coating or not, but the finish, overall look and feel is very nice, and the hinge of the cover (the only really flexible part) opens in a very leather-like fashion. My Kindle now automatically powers on/off when I open and close the case which is nice, and I think the little extra bulkiness compared to a naked Kindle is worth it for the screen protection, it still fits in my coat pocket fine.Really I can’t think of a bad thing to say about it, so I’ve given it five stars as I’m very happy all round.

The product is excellent. Have no issues with the product, it’s quality, build, colour etc. The reason why i gave it three stars is because of the price. This costs only $ 11.99 in the US, which roughly converts to about Rs. 800. However, I paid almost double for it through Booyah Chicago. I do know that there are markups due to duties, shipping and margin, but not double the cost. Well, it’s the price you pay for a quality product not available here in India directly.

  49. This fits the Kindle Paperwhite perfectly. I like the faux leather finish – nice book-like feel. I am not a huge fan of book style covers because I don’t like dealing with the flap while reading. So this sleeve style is just perfect and one of the few good options on Amazon India. The only con is that it is pricey.

I was looking for a minimal case or cover, one that I could store my Kindle while carrying but did want something that was left on while using the device. I like the “fit” of the Kindle in my hands and had experience with the hinged covers from my iPad. This case fit the bill, it’s a very nice leather and well stitched. I did not have any issues with the fit, it was snug but the Kindle went in easily and removed without any problems. From other reviews I knew that I had to pay attention not to accidentally hit the power button when placing the Kindle but so far had no issues. I do believe the leather is thick enough to provide some protection.

After using the cover for some, my kindle device started feeling some issue like options are auto selecting. I am not touching the kindle screen but still, the options are auto selecting. This cover has some magnetic stuff. I am thinking that magnetic stuff in cover can impact the device functionality

  74. very premium quality, ‘near leather’ sleeve for your kindle. Provides a snug finish and is stylish.

If you’re looking for an e-reader that also lets you read in dark, then the All-new Kindle 10th Gen is the reader for you. It has all the features of its previous versions and additional backlighting to enable reading in the dark. I pre-ordered this device and availed it’s offers. Got my first e-book for ₹200/- off. Here are some pros and cons I observed after using it for 3 days:Pros:1. Light weight, one-handed operation is easy.2. No glare, no strain on eyes.3. Lets you download and read a variety of books across various genres.4. One full charge lasts for weeks.5. Lets you read PDF e-books and you can also download them from your PC.6. Lets you carry your entire library. Storage space claimed is 4GB.7. VoiceView screen reader works well with a Bluetooth speaker.8. Comes with a free extended warranty i.e, a 2 year device protection plan free of any charge. (For customers who pre- ordered it).9. Word Wise and Vocabulary Builder are very good features.10. Undisturbed reading, unlike tablets and smartphones.11. Cloud storage possible.Cons:1. Page turning or clicking may seem odd at first as the page refreshes everytime and the type of ink used.2. Isn’t waterproof or water resistant.3. Free storage space I got was only 2.37GB which is much less than the claimed 4GB.Overall, it’s a good buy for anyone who loves to read. Occasional readers may find it a waste of money.

Will wait for few more days to test this issue- battery life is not that good, it could be due to light but its certainly not gonna last weeks-its 4GB but you only get around ~2.6 GB

Pros:- The screen is far better than the previous one that I owned(6th gen basic kindle).- The screen contrast is very good. Fonts are more legible compared to the previous generation basic kindle- The display is updated to E-Carta. This is good in terms of technology.- The backlight is definitely a USP of this product. The light spread out evenly across the display panel. Even keeping backlight to 1 point is enough for most people for comfortable reading.Cons:- Unlike in the US version, there is no Bluetooth support. Hence users may not be able to use audiobooks from audible. But this only a matter of software update that Amazon can enable the BT interface. Not sure when this might happen.- They gave Rs.200 give e-book voucher on pre-order. They could have given 3 months kindle unlimited like in the US.- I am skeptical about battery life. Need to use the device for a few more days to determine actual battery life.- The difference of color of charging indicator LED is hard to tell when the device is charging or completely charged.Price is fair in my opinion as kindle without special offers(with ads) is sold at $109 in the US which translates to INR7700/-. Expecting this for less price does not make any sense unless this is manufactured in India.

  81. I currently own 2 Kindles: 7th Gen Paperwhite and 2nd Gen Oasis (yes, I like to pamper myself while reading). Both fell short for various reasons. The 7th Gen Paperwhite’s screen is not flush and is prone to picking up dust or lint between the bezel and the screen. Its battery life is not as long-lasting as its predecessor (the 6th Gen PW probably has the most outstanding battery life of all Kindles), and I also made the mistake of using it in tandem with the luxurious Oasis. The 2nd Gen Oasis came with many wonderful technological breakthroughs – a gorgeous 7-inch display, the battery stacked to one side which made it easier to hold with one hand, waterproof capability, and the extra storage – but it disappointed me at one key aspect: the ability to hold it for a long period of time. You see, the 2nd Gen Oasis was the first model to sport a metallic finish on the back. The reasoning behind this might have been to lend it a premium finish, but it is also had the unintended consequence of being very slippery, especially if your palms tend to sweat a lot. Add to this the fact that the edges were sharp and liable to dig into your skin. I have been using the Oasis regularly since launch day and the device still doesn’t feel like ‘mine’. I keep adjusting my hold and grip while reading after every few minutes – this is not something you expect to do after nearly a year of heavy use.Hence, despite the fact that I already use 2 Kindles, the 10th Gen Paperwhite instantly caught my eye. Thankfully, purchasing it has turned out to be an addition of utility rather than overkill. With the new model, Amazon has realized the pinnacle of its vision for Kindle design and technology.– The flush screen, just like the one on Oasis 2, is aesthetically pleasing to read.– The new version is the lightest Paperwhite ever, which makes holding it for long periods even less of a chore. Gone are the days of switching hands or grips at regular intervals.– The rounded edges don’t dig into my hand and let me focus completely on my reading.– I am not one for using my Kindles near pools or while enjoying a bath, so waterproof capability comes in useful only if I ever happen to spill some sort of liquid on it.Overall, if you are looking to upgrade to the 10th Gen Paperwhite for the features, then it might not present a whole lot of exciting new boxes to consider. But, from a design standpoint, the latest version truly excels at stripping away the noise even further, and transporting you into your own private bookish world.Update (23/11/18): So I contacted Amazon Support regarding the update problem. The device was failing to update (via WiFi and USB) to the v5.10.1.2, which happens to be the latest version. The response from Amazon Support: “I’d like to inform you that this is a known issue and a master ticket has already has been raised and the issue has been escalated and we are waiting for the update.”They also assured that the problem was just a software problem, NOT a hardware problem. So I’m going to just sit tight and wait for the software patch to arrive. No big deal.Update (30/11/18): Update to v5.10.1.3 successful. No more pending issues with the device.

I was skeptic about buying a kindle thinking how much I would miss the paperback thing. I tried reading ebooks on laptop and also on mobile even in the kindle app, nothing worked anywhere near the paperback experience.Allured by the pre-order offers, bought this one and I am loving it (it’s only the fourth day I am using it though, still I’m loving it). A great thing is that I can change the font and spacing, something that I couldn’t do in the paperback. This is my first kindle so can’t really compare with other versions. But if you are a paperback fan and thinking whether a kindle is worth it, I would say you must give this one a try and you will definitely love it.EDIT: It’s almost 1.5 months with the Kindle, I read almost everyday and I’m still loving it.The backlight thing has solved many problems that a paperback has: I can sit with my kindle by the dark riverside in the evening, I can switch off my room lights before going to bed and not get up later to switch them off after reading a little, I can read it under a blanket in winter and I can read it in train and flight regardless of whether the ambient lights are on or not.I just hope this device lasts long. If I face any problem with this device later or I stop loving it, I’ll update this review.

But this kindle paperwhite 10th gen has inbuilt light which makes my night reading experience fantastic. I love the design and its sleek which is easy to hold for a long time.I like the resolution , clarity and battery backup.(The only option i could not find is DISABLE TOUCH.)It has the features of kindle voyage and oasis. That is FLUSH SCREEN, WATER PROOF and like Oasis we can invert the background (black background with white letters). We can connect bluetooth and hear the audios of our favourite books.Over all its a boon to avid readers..EDIT : Review of Kindle 10th gen after 2 months of usage : Everything is fine as i described before.DISABLE TOUCH option is enabled after further updation. Also battery percentage is displayed at the top of the kindle. Very very average product. I bought after reading in the website that the new kindle 10th generation supports the audible feature wherein if one is an audible subscriber one can seamlessly use the kindle to even listen to audio books. Was extremely disappointed when I got the delivery yesterday as after speaking to customer service they informed that the feature is not yet available in India although audible has been launched in India more than a year ago!! Also the response seemed slow and no point absolutely in going for a 3G option and paying almost 8k more as the 3G connectivity is extremely appalling in the 24 hours that I have used the new oasis.

Upgraded from my old Paperwhite (7th gen). This Kindle (Oasis 10th gen with 32 GB, graphite) has a lot of good features.Pros:1. I got this Kindle because I needed more space for my books, and on that front, it’s a great upgrade for me. You can read pdf files a little better on this than you can on a Paperwhite.2. One of the things I love about this device is the design. The screen is flat from edge to edge, without the elevated black margins like in the Paperwhite. The screen is better to touch too. The thicker side makes it good to hold.3. The page flip buttons make it more user friendly.4. The screen rotation feature is great. That means you can hold it (the thick side) with either hand and the screen will rotate automatically.5. Warmth adjustment. Good.6. The metallic look of the back. Good.Cons:1. The price tag. Definitely could be lower.2. The battery. I experienced a little bit of drain the first day, but after resetting the device, it got better (this is a follow up to my earlier review). However, be warned that using features like auto brightness and staying connected (WiFi or the internet) constantly will lead the battery to discharge quickly.I’m glad I bought this.

It doesn’t fit the kindle. It’s too big for it. The seller has wrongly mentioned the size and the model of the kindle it’s supposed to go on. Even the cardboard inside of it was small. The purchase became absolutely useless. I feel cheated by the seller. Shame because the design on of it was quite nice.

Does what it says, only big downside is that it has a poor odor (yes, it sorta literally stinks). It does go away though eventually. So not a big problem.

  135. It looks very bulky on a slim kindle. Also it looks vey think.Only good thing is it fits perfect with magnetic attachment.I would hope to keep my reader as is instead of adding unnecessary weight.

After using the cover for some, my kindle device started feeling some issue like options are auto selecting. I am not touching the kindle screen but still, the options are auto selecting. This cover has some magnetic stuff. I am thinking that magnetic stuff in cover can impact the device functionality

I bought this and another 3rd party leather case for 1k for my All-New Kindle Paperwhite. Though there are many other cheaper cases out there, there’s literally nothing like this or even closer to this.Pros:- The case gives a premium feel, has an excellent finish and is smooth and sexy- It gives a great grip while reading- Water doesn’t really affect it too since this is water safe- Protects the screen of the Kindle (instead of buying a screen guard like a lot of people, go for this since most guards will not retain your natural reading experience – the reflections sorta increase and the whole Kindle feeling goes away)- The colour is damn attractive and classyCons:- Price: higher than many other third party cheap covers out there- Putting this or any screen guard on will slightly increase the weight of the Kindle (doesn’t really trouble me, but can be a concern for extended reading times)But my personal equation here: Safety of the Device > Little additional weight- This review is after using the cover for a couple of weeks now, so cannot comment on wear and tear yet.Final Verdict:If you want to protect your Kindle, go for this premium cover as compared to any other cheaper cover out there in the market.

I had been wanting to buy a kindle for a long time after seeing many of my friends using it and absolutely loving it. The moment I came across the 10th Gen Kindle Paperwhite, I bought it. It’s been around one month since I have been using it and I’m in love with it. Please note, I have charged it only once in last one month (and I pretty much read daily). The battery life is awesome. Easy to carry and has enough space to store all the books that I love. Give it a try if you’re a book lover and don’t mind reading your favorite stories/authors on a digital medium.

The reading experience with this device is unmatched. If you are an avid reader, then this should be in your backpack. I heard some people tell that when they try to flip the page to the left side with a touch, it actually goes forward instead. Even I face this problem. Looks like a software bug. If you need to flip your page backwards, you may swipe on the left side instead of a touch. This way the pages flip backwards.

It is good for the price. Though I doubt the case was originally designed for “All new Kindle” and not “Kindle Paperwhite”. There are difference in the design of these two kindles. One notable difference is the width of the lower side border, in case of paperwhite that is shorter, so this cover just meets the edge of the display screen and on the other upper side the border is visible.

I bought this cover after searching for a lot of covers online. There are a couple of bad reviews for this case as well. After using it I find it has a good fit and doesn’t cause the Kindle to fall out. Additionally, you can use the origami case as a stand for reading. This doesn’t add considerable weight to the Kindle. It will protect the device from medium drops if closed. It also saved my Kindle from a leaking bottle as the cover soaked up the water and it didn’t reach the Kindle. All in all value for money and a good product. Buy this if you don’t want to pay 2k+ for the original Amazon cover.

Product is okay. But extremely careful while choosing color, as they replace only defective products, it’s neither returnable nor exchangable with different color. I chose brown but it was not looking that great when i got it, i wanted to replace it with pink but couldn’t do it. Hence using same color unwillingly 🙁

Pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. It’s a hard case that fits a Paperwhite snugly. The case avoids contraptions like cover slots and paddings, thus keeping the form factor small. The flip cover is remarkably sturdy and folds all the way behind, leaving no trace of bulk. After using it for a week, I feel assured that this case will keep my Paperwhite safe.Recommended.

Decent product, Serves the purpose. Only thing did not expect plastic bottom. Is not necessarily bad. But holding the kindle feels a little hard as opposed to other covers. Magnetic lock is good. Maybe tight fit, initially closing the cover is a bit difficult as it feels small. It becomes ok after a few times. Look is also good.

Also, to change the background to black (reversing the colour) is a feature missing. Still, I would definitely recommend it for readers who like to travel and pack smartly.

The premium leather feel is good and the magnetic display turn-off and turn-on works perfectly.Cover easily attracts smudges and scratches if used heavily.

After using the cover for some, my kindle device started feeling some issue like options are auto selecting. I am not touching the kindle screen but still, the options are auto selecting. This cover has some magnetic stuff. I am thinking that magnetic stuff in cover can impact the device functionality
